Abuse Policy.

This Abuse Policy defines prohibited activities and responsible-use requirements for RunaVPS VPS hosting services. Our goal is to maintain a safe, reliable, and lawful hosting environment for customers, networks, and third parties.

IMPORTANT

VPS resources must be used for lawful and legitimate purposes.

Customers are responsible for all activity performed through their VPS, including activity performed by applications, users, customers, employees, or third parties authorized by the account holder.

Illegal Activities

You may not use RunaVPS services to conduct, facilitate, promote, or support activities that violate applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or third-party rights.

Illegal goods or services
Fraudulent transactions or schemes
Money laundering or financial crime
Identity theft or impersonation
Bribery, corruption, or unlawful financial activity
Activities intended to evade legal or regulatory requirements

Malware & Harmful Software

RunaVPS may not be used to create, distribute, host, deploy, or operate software designed to compromise, damage, monitor, or gain unauthorized control of systems.

Viruses and worms
Trojans and backdoors
Spyware and keyloggers
Ransomware
Botnets and malicious payloads
Remote access malware
Destructive or intentionally disruptive software

Phishing & Credential Theft

Hosting or operating infrastructure intended to impersonate legitimate services or collect credentials, payment information, or sensitive personal information without authorization is prohibited.

Phishing websites
Credential harvesting pages
Fake login portals
Password collection campaigns
Banking or payment impersonation
Social engineering infrastructure

Unauthorized Access

Customers may not access, test, probe, scan, exploit, or interfere with systems, networks, accounts, or applications without proper authorization.

Unauthorized vulnerability exploitation
Port scanning against third-party systems
Credential attacks
Brute-force attacks
Unauthorized system access
Privilege escalation against third-party systems

DDoS & Network Attacks

RunaVPS services may not be used to attack, overload, disrupt, or intentionally degrade the availability of networks, servers, applications, or online services.

Spam & Unsolicited Communications

RunaVPS does not permit infrastructure to be used for unsolicited bulk communications or abusive messaging campaigns.

Open Proxies & Network Relays

Network services that create uncontrolled or abusive access to third-party systems are prohibited unless expressly authorized by RunaVPS.

Tor exit nodes
Services designed to conceal abusive activity

Copyright & Intellectual Property

Customers may not use RunaVPS infrastructure to host, distribute, reproduce, or facilitate access to materials that infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, privacy rights, or other intellectual property rights.

Unauthorized software distribution
Stolen digital content

Fraud & Deceptive Activity

VPS services may not be used to operate fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or abusive activities that may cause financial or other harm to customers or third parties.

Fake stores or fraudulent websites
Payment credential theft
Fake investment schemes
Ponzi or pyramid schemes
False commercial representations
Unauthorized collection of personal information

Gambling & Restricted Activities

RunaVPS services may not be used for unlawful gambling, unauthorized betting, or activities that require regulatory approval where the required authorization has not been obtained.

Fraudulent prize or contest schemes
Restricted financial activities
Activities requiring approval without authorization

Adult, Exploitative & Harmful Content

Content or services that are illegal, exploitative, abusive, or prohibited by applicable payment and platform policies are not permitted.

Child sexual abuse material or exploitation
Non-consensual sexual content
Illegal sexual services
Obscene or unlawful material
Content promoting exploitation or abuse
Sexual content involving minors

Violence, Threats & Harassment

RunaVPS services may not be used to facilitate unlawful violence, credible threats, targeted harassment, intimidation, or activities intended to cause physical harm.

Content facilitating violent criminal activity

Cryptocurrency & High-Risk Activities

Activities involving cryptocurrency, financial services, stored value, investment products, or other regulated activities may be restricted and may require prior written authorization.

Cryptocurrency mining without written approval
Fraudulent investment services
Unlicensed financial services
Money transmission or payment processing
Activities subject to regulatory approval without approval

Identity & Payment Abuse

Customers must provide accurate account and payment information and must not use RunaVPS services to facilitate payment fraud or abuse.

Resource & Infrastructure Abuse

Customers must not intentionally interfere with the normal operation, security, or availability of RunaVPS infrastructure or other customers' services.

Resource exhaustion attacks
Intentional infrastructure disruption
Abusive traffic generation
Unauthorized access to shared infrastructure
Attempts to bypass service restrictions
Activities that create material risk to other customers

ENFORCEMENT

Abuse Reports & Service Actions.

RunaVPS may investigate suspected abuse and may take appropriate action based on the circumstances, including requesting information, restricting network access, suspending a VPS, terminating a service, or reporting suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate parties.

Where practical, customers may be contacted regarding abuse reports and given an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken when necessary to protect infrastructure, customers, third parties, or legal compliance.
